National Capital Division donated $500 to supports Patrick Biggs quest for a gold at 2010 Olympics, recognizing Patrick dedication to ski racing over the years and continued community involvement. We all wish Patrick and look forward to cheer for him at the races.
It is also worth noting that a very large contingent of volunterrs from our region is on their way to Whisler to help with the alpine racing at the Olympic games and among them there are some of our past and current members. members Richard Chmiel, Mary Van Buren, Ron Lennox and Jane Macintyre are all going and we wish them a good luck and exiting time at the games.
