Nancy Greene Ski League

Club racing for ages 7 - 13

At the entry level (Nancy Greene Ski League-NGSL), children are introduced to team-oriented ski racing without the pressures related to individual competition. This FUNdamental phase focuses on having fun and learning to ski varied terrain such as bumps, ice, powder, monkey trails, obstacle courses, etc. It encourages participation and interaction and develops skiing in an exciting and motivating environment. Skills related to Agility, Balance, Co-ordination, speed, flexibility and endurance are introduced through games and fun activities. The goal of the NGSL is to spark a yearning to pursue the sport of skiing as a lifetime activity. Graduates of the NGSL move into Juvenile programs as their growth, development and skills improve.

Racers will receive mid and end of season evaluation reports to track their progress. Nancy Greene skiers will get exposure to ski racing through "fun Races" held during the season on a variety of terrain.
